Many people have a favorite bible verse or favorite verses but what are the cream of the crop. I know all scripture should be valued but truthfully their are some verses that are read more then others. For instance one of my personal favorites Exodus 22:19 didn’t make the list. For those of you who don’t know Exodus 22:19 reads “Anyone who has sexual relations with an animal must be put to death.” Apparently not uplifting enough for the general public. According to Biblegateway.com This is a list of the 100 most read bible verses on their site.

1. John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
2. Jer 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
